Program Description

The Associate of Science Degree in Natural Science encompasses between 65 and 70 credit hours offering students the option of in-depth study in one area of concentration or a two-course emphasis in one area with exposure to introductory courses in up to three other different concentrations. The LSC-O science faculty members bring a wealth of university and community college experience to their classrooms and continue to pursue ongoing, meaningful research in their specialties. Admission to the program requires no special testing outside the normal requirements for admission and matriculation at LSC-O—but a passion for exploring the unsolved mysteries of nature is a definite plus.
