Scholarship Opportunities
for Information Technology Majors
Science, technology, engineering and mathematics are the subjects that make up the STEM discipline. Com-STEM is a collaborative effort among McNeese State, Louisiana State University at Eunice and Lamar State College-Orange to provide scholarship opportunities for students who are interested in degrees in STEM disciplines. This effort was made possible through the National Science Foundation (NSF) and is intended to increase the number of students who enter, remain and graduate from one of these fields of study. Computer information technology and computer science are two disciplines under the STEM program.
Com-STEM scholarships are available for students seeking Associate of Science degrees or completing coursework leading to Bachelor of Science degrees in a STEM discipline.
