Solarium

In 1965, Mr. Edgar and his second wife, Smitty, added the solarium, which he called his "Little Astrodome". Some of the grandchildren were getting married and they thought it would be a great place to hold the weddings. The stone in the indoor fountain came from the hill country in West Texas where Mr. Edgar owned a ranch.

This is the room in which we hold most of our wedding ceremonies, meetings, luncheons, dinners, and conferences. The room has a spectacular view of the grounds and outdoor fountain.
