Students wishing to withdraw from all classes must fill out withdrawal
petitions in the Admissions and Records Office. Students must clear all
financial obligations and return all books, laboratory equipment, and
other materials. Four copies of the withdrawal form signed by the division
chair, the Business Office, Financial Aid, and the Vice President for
Student Services are presented to the Admissions and Records Office by
the student. For refund purposes the effective withdrawal date is the
date the "Withdrawal Petition" is received in the Admissions
and Records Office with all appropriate signatures.
The Business Office will return
such fees as are refundable according to the schedule shown under the
"Fees" section of this catalog. After the penalty-free period,
the instructor may assign a grade of "F" for courses at the
time of withdrawal.
A student may not withdraw
after the published deadline. A student who leaves without withdrawing
officially will receive a grade of "F" in all courses, will
forfeit all refundable fees, and is not relieved of outstanding financial
debts.
