Salary

$34,200 (Masters); $39,700 (Doctorate)

Responsibilities

Teach courses in accounting principles and technical accounting and other related courses (normal course load is 15 credit hours per semester-including day, evening courses); provide quality and innovative instruction; effectively mentor students; supply professional leadership in curriculum development; recruit students; assist with advising and registration; serve on departmental and college committees; continue professional development; and perform other duties as may be assigned.


Qualifications

Master's in Accounting or MBA with 18 graduate hours in Accounting is required. Certification (CPA) desirable. Evidence of successful community college or equivalent teaching experience preferred. Candidate must demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the unique needs of students as well as the diverse academic, social, economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of students. Must comply with established College standards and policies.
