The National Center for Competency
Testing (NCCT) is a third-party agency offering certification testing
to ensure skills, knowledge and ethics of the professions they serve.
Certifications offered include:
- Dental Assistant
- ECG Technician
- Medical Assistant
- Medical Office Assistant
- Phlebotomist Technician
- Patient Care Technician
- Insurance & Coding Specialist
- Bookkeeper
- Bookkeeper - Advanced
Exams are administered monthly in paper/pencil format and on-line by appointment. The testing fee per exam is $135, with students and recent graduates (within the last six months) paying a discounted fee of $90.
