The Nurse Entrance Test (N.E.T.)
is required for admission into the Upward Mobility Nursing Program. The
exam measures critical reading ability, level of success in basic math
and effective speed in reading college level material and identifies
an individual's approach to study as well as most effective learning
style.
The N.E.T. consists of 248 questions to be completed within a two-and-half-hour
time frame. A N.E.T. profile is generated at the conclusion of the test
session. The exam is administered on computer, by appointment,
at a cost of $40.
A limited number of study
guides are available at the Lamar State College-Orange Library. Study
guides can also be ordered from Education Resources Incorporated at
www.eriworld.com or 1-800-292-2273.
Cost of the guide is $27.50.
