Mission Statement

The Continuing Education/Workforce Development Department of Lamar State College-Orange provides non-credit student learning opportunities for the community and customized training programs to meet the needs of local business and industry. Our commitment is to provide student-learning opportunities to increase the knowledge and skills needed for current jobs and preparation for future career advancement.

We also assist businesses with grant preparation and other forms of funding to help with the cost of training. Numerous funding programs exist and there may be one that is perfect for your business!
