The Alpha Nu Gamma Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society offers special congratulations to student Brian Bailey, the winner of the C4 (Community College Completion Challenge) pledge drawing. Brian, who hopes to graduate in May of 2016, received a tax preparation certificate from H&R Block worth $300 (donated by Phi Theta Kappa member Angela Stout, on behalf of her employer), along with a Barnes and Noble gift card worth $25.

Alpha Nu Gamma held the last C4 pledge event for the semester on Thursday, February 19, 2015, in the Academic Center atrium. The chapter collected nearly 50 new completion pledges from students, making a total of over 150 pledges for the 2014/2015 academic year.

Students who missed the event may sign the pledge online at http://cccompletioncorps.org/pledge (make sure to specify your campus). Our campus has agreed to track completion progress of LSC-O students who have pledged to complete their degrees or certificates and submit this data to Phi Theta Kappa as our contribution to a national study of college completion rates.
