How to Apply for Faculty Positions

At Lamar State College Orange the future is Bright Orange. Here we Grow again and we are in need of more part-time instructors. Adjunct instructors earn $2400 for a 3 semester credit hour course. In addition to great pay, you will be changing the world, one student at a time.

  1. All those wishing to apply for a full-time faculty or part-time adjunct instructor position at Lamar State College Orange should first navigate to our job postings website:

  2. Navigate to the posting you wish to apply for and click the job title. For this example, we will use Adjunct Instructor of Real Estate Management.

  3. Once you click on the job title link, you will be brought to another screen. Use the “Apply for this job” button shown in the upper, right-hand corner.

  4. You will then be brought to a screen with a few different options. If you already have an account, simply login using your previously created credentials. You can also create an account if this is your first time using our system.

  5. This step should only be followed if you need to create a new account.
    1. Click “Create an Account” from the options shown in the screen on the image above.

    2. Click “Create account” and then fill in all required fields (indicated with an asterisk). Once complete, click “Create account” at the bottom of the page.

  6. You will now be asked to fill in information on the application itself. All required fields are indicated with an asterisk.

    There are 9 pages that you must enter information into. All required information will be indicated with an asterisk on each page.

    Before moving from one screen to the next, ensure that you have clicked the “Save & Continue” button at the bottom of each screen. Using this button will also navigate you to the next page.

  7. On the last page titled “Check for Errors and Submit” completed sections are indicated with a check mark. If the section is incomplete, or contains errors, it will be indicated with an X.

    Please note that the top of page “Check for Errors and Submit” will contain a summary of errors that need to be fixed.

    If a section contains errors or is incomplete, navigate back to it and identify the error or missing information. Once the information has been entered, click “Save & Continue”. Fix all applicable errors before navigating back to “Check for Errors and Submit”. If all sections have a check mark, you can certify the application and submit it for consideration. If there are still sections with an X, repeat the steps above.

  8. Once your application has been successfully completed you will receive a confirmation number. This confirmation number indicates that your application will be considered for employment.
