Upward Mobility Nursing (AAS)
Associate of Applied Science

Purpose Statement

The Associate of Applied Science Upward Mobility Nursing Program is a competency-based program for LVN/LPNs that leads to eligibility to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become registered nurses (RNs). Students must maintain "C" or better grades in ALL nursing and science courses and overall 2.0 grade point averages (GPAs) to graduate from the Lamar State College-Orange Upward Mobility Program.
