Campus to Return to Normal Operations

Wednesday, September 2, 2026 | 5:30 p.m.

Lamar State College Orange will resume normal operations for Thursday, September 3, 2026. This includes all in-person, hybrid and online classes in Orange, Lumberton, Livingston and San Marcos.

As you travel tomorrow, please be aware of your surroundings as crews work to clean up roadways and restore power. As always, please continue to monitor your LSCO email, lsco.edu/alerts and LSCO’s social media sites for official updates. 

Campus to Remain Closed

Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our employees and students, Lamar State College Orange will remain closed for Wednesday, September 2, 2026. This closure includes in-person, hybrid, and online classes at the Orange, Lumberton and Livingston campuses. Courses at our San Marcos campus will continue as originally planned.

Due to tropical weather conditions, Lamar State College Orange will be closed Tuesday, September 1, 2026. This closure includes in-person, hybrid, and online classes at the Orange, Lumberton and Livingston campuses. Courses at our San Marcos campus will continue as originally planned.

Lamar State College Orange continues to closely monitor weather conditions. Should a change in operations become necessary, communications will be sent no later than 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Lamar State College Orange is actively monitoring the potential for severe weather this week that could affect some of our campuses.

In the event that a change to normal operations becomes necessary, notifications will be sent through your LSCO email, lsco.edu/alerts, LSCO’s social media sites, and automated phone calls and text messages will be placed to the number listed in your Self-Service Banner account. Please continue to monitor these communications methods for official updates.
