Lamar State College Orange offers Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees, alongside Certificates of Completion and online programs in a variety of career-related fields. Students that attend LSCO have an exceptional educational experience through personalized instruction and practical, hands-on learning opportunities that prepare them to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Explore Our Pathways
Lamar State College Orange offers six designated career pathways. Each pathway contains several specific instructional majors.
The Arts and Humanities pathway features communication, liberal arts, and sociology programs. Students in this pathway have an interest in creatively expressing themselves through their realm of study.
The Industry and Manufacturing pathway is designed for students interested in pursuing a career that supports the fabrication, processing, preparation, or transportation of products from raw materials to commodities. Some of the majors within this pathway include electromechanical technology, commercial truck driving, and welding.
The Business pathway is focused on preparing students for a career in or related to the business environment. Students have the opportunity to learn how to become a leader, organize people, plan activities, and work with numbers. Majors include business management, construction management, and real estate.
The Public Service pathway consists of coursework in cosmetology, teaching, court reporting, and criminal justice. Students develop planning and management skills while providing a range of different public services.
The Health Professions pathway allows students to learn how to contribute positively to patient care by improving or maintaining the health of those they serve. Students in this pathway study nursing, dental assisting, emergency medical services, massage therapy, or pharmacy technology.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
The Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics pathway teaches students to be critical thinkers and to demonstrate knowledge in logic, analysis, experimentation and project-based initiatives. This STEM-focused pathway includes information technology, computer science, and pre-engineering coursework.
Non-Credit Programs
Lamar State College Orange offers non-credit programs through Community and Workforce Education that are open for everyone to learn a new skill or complete training that represents achievement of specific marketable talents and self-defined educational goals. Non-credit areas offered include:

LSCO online provides convenient and flexible opportunities for continuing your education and reaching your goals. There are several associate degrees and certificates of completion offered fully online; at the same time, online course options for several of our pathways are also available.
