Texas Juvenile Justice Department
Lamar State College Orange is proud to partner with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department to offer an exclusive new path for employees to earn college certificates and degrees, turning your professional training into valuable college credentials.
Through our credit articulation agreement, your experience in the Juvenile Justice Training Academy translates directly into 16 college credit hours that count toward both a Criminal Justice Certificate and a Criminal and Forensic Science Associate of Applied Science degree.
How It Works
1. Convert TJJD Training to College Credit
Your on-the-job training will count towards six continuing education courses, up to 16 credit hours.
After your TJJD training is articulated, complete five more courses to earn LSCO's Criminal Justice Certificate.
3. Pursue Your Associate Degree
Continue your education with LSCO's Criminal and Forensic Science Associate of Applied Science degree.
