The Machining Program at Lamar State College Orange trains students in manual machining—the process of shaping metal and other materials using lathes, mills, and precision tools. Through hands-on instruction in machining fundamentals, students gain the skills needed to enter high-demand manufacturing careers immediately after graduation.
