Request Transcripts

Ordering a transcript from Lamar State College Orange has never been easier. Students and alumni can now conveniently request electronic transcripts (PDF) through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). Here are just a few of the many benefits of using NSC to order your transcript.

Requests made through National Student Clearinghouse are available for current and former students.

There is a minimum fee to process an E-Transcript. NSC $2.90 fee is applied to all orders per recipient plus $0.50 for PDF electronic delivery.

Lamar State College Orange cannot refund fees paid through National Student Clearinghouse.

  • Selecting this link will redirect you to the NSC storefront where you can order. Please follow all prompts. All information must be correct to prevent delays in processing.
  • Electronic Transcripts must be retrieved using a desktop or laptop computer due to security features applied to the document. Mobile devices and tablet access to the Download Center is blocked.
  • Payment will be accepted with any major credit card or debit card. Your credit or debit card is not charged until your school sends your transcript(s). However, if you use a debit card, your bank may put a hold on your funds when we pre-authorize your payment. If you have any questions about a pre-authorization, please contact your bank.
  • Status of your request can be checked through NSC by clicking on the link above and scrolling to the bottom of the page. Look for “View Transcript Order Status”.
  • For questions regarding your electronic transcript order, please contact NSC support by clicking “Help” next to the Lamar State College Orange logo in the upper right corner.

Requests made through Gator Self Service are available for current students.

This is a free service that allows you to request your transcript to be mailed via USPS. A mailed transcript can take 7-14 business days for processing and delivery through the post office.

The request must include your name, date of birth, approximate dates of attendance, how many transcripts and the name and address of the institution(s) to send the transcripts to.

If you choose or issue to Lamar State College Orange, the transcript will be issued to the student and held for pick up. Transcripts held for pick up will be shredded after 60 days if not picked up and a new request will be required.

If someone other than the student is picking up the transcript, their name needs to be included on the transcript request. They will need to present their state issued driver’s license/ID or student ID at the time of pick-up.

Notice

Lamar State College Orange has been notified by the National Student Clearinghouse that information they manage for some of our graduates and students was included in a recent nationwide cybersecurity incident. According to the Clearinghouse, no Social Security Numbers, Dates of Birth, or Student ID Numbers were compromised from the LSCO files. 

The data breach involves a vulnerability identified with MOVEit Transfer, a file transfer software used by a number of companies. The types of personal information included in the files obtained without permission from the Clearinghouse varied by school and individual. The college was notified that Lamar State College Orange data included student names. The inclusion of other data types was designated as false by the Clearinghouse.

Most U.S. higher education institutions, as well as a number of K-12 organizations, use the Clearinghouse’s educational reporting, research, data and transcript ordering services. Due to the widespread use of the National Student Clearinghouse, students may receive notifications from other affected organizations. For anyone concerned about this breach, many resources are available to detect and report identity theft at identitytheft.gov. Individuals may request a free annual credit report from any or each of the major credit reporting companies, Equifax, Experian or TransUnion.
