Commencement Ceremony Information

Summer 2025 Commencement Ceremony Saturday August 9, 2025 10:00 a.m. G&G Enterprises Arena 1400 Newton St, West Orange, TX 77630

Join us as we celebrate our Summer 2025 graduates on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the G&G Enterprise Arena, located at West Orange Stark High School. Following the ceremony, guests and graduates are invited to return to the Lamar State College Orange campus for photo opportunities.

Important Information for Guests

To ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for all attendees, please review the following important guidelines.

Prohibited Items

For the safety and comfort of all guests, the following items are not permitted inside G&G Enterprise Arena:

• Gifts and celebratory items including flowers, cards, air horns, confetti, signs, or balloons will not be allowed in the event center, as these items may obstruct the view of other guests
• Weapons of any kind
• Outside food and beverages
• Professional recording equipment
• Any items that may disrupt the ceremony or block sightlines

Accessibility Services

Handicap seating is available for guests who require special accommodations. Please inform arena staff of any accessibility needs upon your arrival so we can ensure you have the best possible seating arrangement.

Parking and Arrival Guidelines

• No congregating in the parking lot will be permitted before or after the ceremony
• Please proceed directly to and from the arena entrance
• Allow extra time for parking and security screening
• Follow all posted parking regulations and staff directions

Additional Reminders

• Arrive early to allow time for seating
• Keep noise to a minimum during the ceremony
• Follow all instructions from arena staff and security personnel
• Cell phones should be silenced or turned off during the ceremony
