Lamar State College Orange and McNeese State University signed an articulation agreement in spring 2023 that creates a direct pathway for LSCO students to earn a bachelor’s degree in business. Students who complete an Associate of Science in Business at LSCO can transfer their credits to McNeese’s College of Business toward a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or Marketing.
McNeese’s College of Business holds AACSB International accreditation, a distinction earned by only the top 5% of business schools worldwide, making this an especially valuable pathway for LSCO students interested in business careers.

How to Transfer
- Meet with Your LSCO Advisor. Work with your academic advisor to make sure your coursework aligns with your intended degree at McNeese State University. Request an unofficial transcript review to confirm which credits will transfer.
- Apply for Admission. Submit your application through McNeese’s admissions page. Be sure to select "Transfer Student" as your student type.
- Send Your Transcripts. Request official transcripts from LSCO (and any other institutions attended) be sent directly to McNeese's admissions office.
