Excel
Lamar State College Orange is proud to offer in-person Excel training. We offer three types of courses: Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced. There are no required pre-requisites and students may register for any course based on their own experience level. See more details on class formats and scheduling below:
Please be advised, the registration deadline for all Continuing Ed classes is 3 business days prior to the class date. Payment is due by the first class session.
INTRO TO EXCEL - $150.00
* 4 sessions of 2 hours each.
* Designed to give users a general overview of the program and its capabilities.

Session Dates: Tues.3/26, Thurs. 3/28, Tues. 4/02, Thurs. 4/04
INTERMEDIATE EXCEL - $175.00
* 2 sessions of 4 hours each with online/independent assignments between class dates.
* Designed to build upon the intro course and aid users in creating more complex formulas and operations.
* During this course users are encouraged to apply learned knowledge to actual workplace or personal data needs.

Session Dates: Fri. 4/12 & Fri. 4/19
ADVANCED EXCEL - $175.00
* 2 sessions of 4 hours each with online/independent assignments between class dates.
* Designed to build upon the intermediate course and focuses on the data visualization features within the application (.i.e Charts, Pivot Tables, etc.)
* Designed to prepare students for certification testing if they desire to pursue the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) designation.

All courses include a flash drive with course data files for practice and a student manual.

- Once registered all students receive an email with payment instructions.
LSCO has faculty & staff certified to teach Microsoft Word & PowerPoint Courses (new courses currently being developed), if you would like other in-person MOS courses offered please email us at workforce@lsco.edu.
